Holland America Line releases details on Early Advantage savings for 2013

SEATTLE -- Holland America Line is offering exceptional Early Advantage savings on a wide selection of 2013 cruises and CruiseTours to guests who book well in advance of departure

The promotion features free upgrades on select sailings, as well as savings of up to 50 percent by combining two cruise itineraries on select Collectors' Voyages in Europe. Also on some sailings, free and reduced cruise fares are available for third or fourth guests who share the same stateroom.

"By planning ahead, our guests can take advantage of significant savings and ensure they are able to take their dream vacation," said Richard Meadows, executive vice president, marketing, sales and guest programs.

"Whether it's upgrading to a verandah stateroom or deciding to enjoy a longer cruise vacation, these savings show the value of booking in advance."

With savings of up to 50 percent off per person, the Early Advantage promotion makes it possible for guests to take a longer Collectors' Voyage in Europe at an even more affordable rate. These artfully crafted, longer cruises combine back-to-back itineraries, enabling guests to visit more ports and spend extra time exploring the history, culture and beauty of the region.

With Early Advantage savings, guests can book a 14-day Collectors' Voyage with fares starting as low as $1,799 per person, double occupancy, for an inside stateroom, and receive a free upgrade to an ocean-view while staterooms are available.

Free upgrades and free or reduced third and fourth guest Early Advantage savings are available on an extensive selection of the line's cruises to more than 415 ports of call in destinations around the world: Alaska, Asia, Australia/New Zealand, Canada/New England, Caribbean, Europe, Hawaii, Mexico, Panama Canal and South America/Antarctica.

A family of four can take advantage of free or reduced third and fourth guests in the Caribbean, with fares starting at $699 for the first two guests, and the third and fourth sailing free. Guests also may book an ocean-view category for $999 and receive a complimentary verandah upgrade.

A 14-day Australia/New Zealand cruise starts at $1,699 for an inside stateroom and $1,999 for an ocean-view stateroom for the first and second guests, with reduced fares for the third and fourth starting at $1,049.  In addition, guests aboard Australia/New Zealand cruises can receive a complimentary upgrade from an ocean-view stateroom to a verandah category while staterooms are available.

Popular seven-day Alaska Inside Passage cruises from Seattle, Wash., or Vancouver, British Columbia, start at $699 for inside staterooms or $999 for verandahs, with free upgrades available.  Another option is one of Holland America Line's Alaska CruiseTours, varying in length from 10 to 20 days and starting at $999 for inside staterooms and ocean-view staterooms.
